With Spring here, (or almost here!) I love to start taking these neutral, beachy items out of the closet!  Here, I paired a new Tommy Bahama Paradise Sun sweater with White JCrew Toothpick Jeans.  I really love this sweater and easily see it being a spring/summer staple!  Happy Shopping!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2015

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2015 Part I

It's my favorite time of year again, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here!!!  This is the first installment of my favorite picks, I bought each of these items and they are all pretty amazing!  The Burberry V-Neck sweater is such a beautiful classic, and the IRO "Ajuma" Chunky Knit Jacket is pretty amazing!

Stay tuned for the rest of the series!

Summer Separates

Monochromatic's always seem to be my go-to in a pinch.  Today is a Halogen via Nordstrom seamed pencil skirt with a silk Joie top and Banana Republic flower necklace.  I finished off the ensemble with Valentino pumps.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2014 - Introduction

It's here it's here!! Hooray it's here!!!  Words can barely describe the joy and happiness I have when the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale rolls around!!  This year, like every other year, I have managed to scour the racks, read descriptions and try out new looks and pairings to find *exactly* what I need want.  I usually take advantage of this sale to purchase higher-end items that I may not necessarily consider buying until the season was well under way and sale prices began to hit, but with the Anniversary sale, you can shop fall on sale before it even gets here! LOVE THAT!

I've split my amazing finds into 3 posts to make things just a teeny bit easier to follow, with links to each below.  Happy shopping!!

Work Wear Collection

Casual Wear Collection

Shoes and Accessories Collection

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2014 - Work Wear

I never suffer from a lack of solid wear to work options.  My favorite thing about some of these pieces are that they transition flawlessly from work to everyday without issue.  My favorites in the below collection are the Theory houndstooth dress, the sleeveless Theory black and white top (so amazing on!!), and the Joie green silk top.

Collecting Shoes and accessories is almost my favorite thing.  Almost.  I found some really great buys in the shoe area, Tory riding boots and the Sam Edelman lace up suede shoes I'm looking at you, and I wanted a new pair of brown shades after losing mine somewhere on vacation.

Casual wear is always a favorite of mine to pick up, even though I'm in business casual for work.  I'm very excited about the items I picked up for the below collage - especially the Tory Burch sweater coat!!

Cruise Fashion

Dinner while cruising is always a *interesting* experience.  Often you have those that are convinced dining on board should be a glamorous affair, while others are full on "I'm wearing jeans since I'm on vacation".  I like to keep it somewhere in the middle.  These are just a few of the great dresses I wore on our recent cruise, the Chevron being a purchase from Piperlime, while the Orange maxi dress is an Eliza J via Nordstrom (black and white version here).  I busted out my super amazing Jimmy Choo Marcia sandals and absolutely loved them!!
