DVF Jadrian Cotton Wrap Dress

DVF does it again.  A little twist on the classic wrap is a major hit with me!  This version is all cotton/silk with a fuller skirt than the original.  This version of the Jadrian Wrap Dress is all black with black and white gingham lining the collar and cuffs of this beauty.  I sized down in this version because the top is designed a little closer to size than the classic wrap style. 

I paired mine with bright peach Manolo's and a new Ann Taylor necklace.

I love DVF.  There, I've said it.  But seriously, I am having a very hard time resisting all of the things happening over at DVF this spring season!  I picked up this gorgeous Leelou Trim Detail Shift Dress in a great fabric with cute black and white trim, and the most amazing Kyla Ballerina Gingham Wrap Sweater. I'm super happy with both pieces.  Happy shopping!  

Wrap it up

The DVF wrap dress got even better with this mixed fabric wrap.  I am a huge HUGE fan of the silk version, but this is knocked-it-out-of-the-park kind of awesome.  This is the Amelia dress, and it comes in an amazing array of colors.  I popped on my Jimmy Choo sandals and boom.  Ready for the workday.

Vacation Wear 2013

Vacation!!! The word alone is enough to make most people get all tingly with anticipation.  If you are anything like me, you spend months planning your activities, reading reviews, and more importantly shopping for all of the great vacation things you "NEED" for your upcoming adventure! 

Because our vacations are regularly scheduled for January, I stalk retailer's websites for that exciting moment when "Resort 201XXX" is released, then for about a week after Christmas I go nuts. You know how you walk into a store to return a Christmas sweater for another fuzzy sweater (in the NE anyway) and you look around at all the shorts and swimsuits and think "jeeez all this summer stuff ALREADY?!, who is buying this?!"  ME that's who!!!
