Rocking the 9:5

As most of you know I work in a "business casual" conservative office environment, unfortunately my taste in clothing doesn't always reflect the atmosphere :-)  I like to dress up and accessorize and push some boundaries, and most of all I love prints, I love shoes, and I love colors.

Enjoy!

Kate Spade Fit and Flare

I freakin love Kate no question everything she creates is amazing.  Well probably not everything, but most things.  Plus this fit and flare is flattering on everyone.

JCrew and Joie - a perfect pairing

I wasn't sure I was going to love this Joie top (here) but I have to tell you it's pretty amazing, I paired it here with a JCrew No.2 pencil skirt, statement necklace, and black peep toe pumps with snake print trim

I wasn't 100% sure that snake print would be office appropriate, but you know what? I don't care!!! I love LOVE this dress!!!! This is via the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (here)

How I Wore It: Sheath Dress

I know I've been ignoring all of you (again!) More work-week looks to come AND be on the lookout for a vacation review!!! :-)

Gray, Mint & Navy

Something about this color combination really stands out to me, I love the look of mint and gray and I love mint and blue so I figured what the hell and threw them all together!

Scarf Tutorial

If you've been keeping tabs, you know scarves are some of my favorite accessories, learning to tie them, knot them, and style them can make them frustrating pieces of fabric you want to shove in a drawer and never see them again.

Here's hoping this tutorial is easy to follow! :-)

Step 1: Lay scarf across your neck with sides hanging down, one side should be longer than the other..

Step 2: Wrap the longer end of the scarf around the back of your neck and bring to front...

Step 3: Tuck in ends of one side wrapping the edge around the loop

Step 4: Do the same with the other end...

Voila!!!
