Tweed

I love tweed. This dress has a great tweed pattern and a nice shape, dresses like this make it really easy to look professional and still have a little bit of style shine through!  Dress, Cardigan and Necklace are all JCrew, shoes are L.K. Bennett.  Have a great day everyone!

Pink and Yellow

I usually try to err towards the side of Pencil skirts and longer dresses for work in my business casual workplace, but since I knew I wasn't going to be in front of any clients, I threw on a skirt a little shorter than I'm normally ok with for work.  I picked up this skirt at Banana Republic (similar here) and paired it with a mustard yellow cardigan and sleeveless ivory blouse (both via Nordstrom).  I really wanted to wear my new Kate Spade lana pumps (same here), so I also threw on a belt in a matching color to bring the whole thing together. 

Casual Spring

Greetings from beautiful Chicago!  I took full advantage of the warmish weather this morning and headed out to Millennium Park for a few shots while the weather was cooperating.  I just got this JCrew sweater (here) and I'm kind of loving it right now, it's light and a nice linen blend knit so I feel like it will be easy to wear throughout the spring. I paired it up with my Paige Jimmy Jimmy Skinny boyfriend jeans (here in a different wash) I LOVE these jeans, they fit amazingly well and are super comfortable.  Shoes are Kate Spade pumps that I think are going be getting a lot of wear this season.  Have a great day everyone!

Neon Tweed

I'm really try to move spring along.  I headed out in the Monsoon rains in this ensemble, almost begging the universe to cooperate.  I love this skirt because it has great texture, but can easily be professional enough for the work place, especially when you add a blazer (JCrew Schoolboy Blazer, here).  I love blazers simply for the fact that really can give you a nice professional look, perfect for a business casual or business work environment.  Finishing off my look is my new Kate Spade pumps (here) that I just got in from Nordstrom.  I'm also a huge fan of this color, it's a not true brown "worn luggage" color that has a lot of potential to look great as a neutral with a lot of things, bonus they come in 3 other colors.  Have a great day everyone!
