Boxy knits meet Business Casual

I have been on an absolute rampage to find boxy/chunky knit/loose sweaters this season.  They are of course EVERYWHERE on pinterest and celebrities, but try to find one you love in a real person store.

I found mine in JCrew and I am so happy with this purchase!  Because of my business casual work environment I paired my boxy knit sweater with a pencil skirt and statement necklace.

This shot gives you a much better idea of the knit and true color of the sweater:

Tweed and Chambray

Let's talk about 2 things: 1) How excited I am that JCrew brought back this fabulous tweed pencil skirt (even if it was only for a few hours!!) and 2) how freakin much I LOVE Tweed and Chambray together.

I feel like they are both just so easy to pair up with each other and, well, pretty much everything that's already in your closet.

Fall Work Wear

Oh my friends how long it has been!!!

Let me re-cap what I've been up to lately: shopping like a crazy person (legit so many things to show you); building my retailers favorites and wish lists; and traveling for free!!  I've spent a few months absolutely OBSESSED with how people do this and let me tell you it's all good stuff.  Seriously.

But free travel is an entirely different blog post.... so for now, you get to see my How I Wore It for today.

Jacket - JCrew Tipped Schoolboy Blazer
Shell - JCrew
Skirt - JCrew No.2 Pencil in Wool
Necklace - JCrew Crystal statement necklace
Shoes - Sophia Webster via Nordstrom

The skirt in this ensemble is Jade green, while the shell, tights and shoes are all Navy blue.  I am a big believer in mixing up colors inside their family, ditto for mixing my patterns!!
